What is Transactional Search Intent?
Transactional intent explains a goal of users want to purchase or do something specific. So, although the term itself suggests the intention of “purchase”, it is not limited to just that. To exemplify, “download steam” query is a good example for transactional intent. Here are some examples of keywords with transactional intent:
- “buy iphone 15 pro”
- “watch barbie”
- “shop wardrobe”
Transactional keywords are money-makers and normally they have high competition and difficulty in most markets.
